On this tour we stay at the Cedar Court Hotel Leeds Bradford while we have a weekend full of “soap” inside information! The hotel offers modern ensuite bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities, TV and free wifi. There is a lift. We take a guided tour through Emmerdale country and visit Esholt which was the filming location for Emmerdale for decades, and include a drink at the ‘Woolpack’. The following day we take the Coronation Street Tour, where we will see all the famous landmarks with plenty of photo opportunities.

Cedar Court Hotel

Cedar Court Bradford offers an excellent base to explore the charms of Yorkshire. It is situated just off the M62 with Leeds City Centre 8 miles away.

ITINERARY

Friday –  After local pick ups we make our journey to Yorkshire with a lunch stop en route.
Saturday – AAfter breakfast we meet our guide and begin our Emmerdale country tour, by travelling to Otley (Hotten in the series), then on to the tiny village of Esholt, where the the show was filmed for decades before residents wished to reclaim their village. Before we leave we head into the Woolpack for a drink. We then travel to Ilkley where we visit the Craiglands Hotel and enjoy a delicious afternoon
tea.
Sunday – this morning after breakfast we travel to ITV Studios for our Coronation Street Tour. We will see all the famous Corrie landmarks such as the Rovers, The Kabin and Roy’s Rolls and again hear lots of inside information on how the show is filmed. Following this we set off for home with comfort breaks en route.
